Even out !

The gentleman on the left in the picture kept turning around and looking at me. For a moment I wondered if we were not allowed inside the mosque. And then he walked up to us and said politely, “Aap masjid mey ho. Aap ko apna sir dhakna hoga.”
 
 Realizing the slip up, I pulled the scarf around my neck and covered my head. As I did that, he asked, “Aap ko bura tho nahin laga?”
 
 “Bilkul nahi. Galti meri thi.” I put my hand on my heart. 
 
 In a moment’s modest exchange, we both had recognized, acknowledged and respected each other’s sentiments.
 
 How little it takes to even out !
